We are currently seeking volunteers and community partners who are interested in sharing their culture through a cultural booth or display. This is a wonderful opportunity to build connections, showcase your heritage, and engage with others in a meaningful and fun way.
Cultural Booths/Displays Can Include:
- Cultural items or artifacts
- Traditional clothing or wardrobe pieces
- Family-friendly games or activities
- Educational or fun facts about your culture
- Flags, colors, and decorations that represent your heritage
Event Details:
- Location: Wheeling Park District Performance Pavilion
- Date: Friday, August 16
- Time: 1:00 – 7:00 pm (Display booths are only from 1:00 – 5:00 pm)
Selection Criteria:
Booths will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and reviewed by the event committee based on:
- Cultural diversity (we aim to represent as many different cultures as possible)
- Educational value
- Interactivity and audience engagement
- Overall presentation concept
The festival will feature a vibrant lineup of cultural performances, ethnic food vendors, and interactive activities for all ages. It’s a perfect opportunity for individuals and organizations to engage with the community and celebrate what makes us all unique.
